Open the practice page once while you have a signal, and the phone keeps it. The word lists, the pictures and the phone's own voices work in the rice field with no internet at all. One thing does not, and we would rather tell you than let you find out in the rain:
A web page cannot install voices for you. You have to do this yourself, and then it is done forever.
iPhone: Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices → English and Thai. Same idea, same three minutes.
On paper: print any topic as a word list before you leave. Paper never loses signal.
Tap any topic to start. Practice as many words as you like — there is no test and no score, just the loop. Filter by category below, or browse all 81 topics on the practice page.

Sixty of the hundred points in the district Story Telling competition are the English itself — vocabulary, pronunciation, voice. So this is a ten-week clinic on the handful of English sounds Thai speakers actually lose: final consonants, /r/ and /l/, /v/, /th/, the clusters. A teacher opens it on a classroom screen; the class says it together twenty times before anyone says it alone.
No login, nothing stored, and it works without internet after the first open.
Open Ploy Hears →The 2,919 words above are the ones we teach you to say. When a word turns up in a book, a song or a homework sheet and nobody in the room knows it, you need somewhere to look. So here are the rest — 82,683 English words, each with a meaning, the Thai where we have it, and a voice that will say it for you.
Free, no login, and your phone only downloads the letters you asked for.
No login, no score that follows a child home, no pressure. Just a loop that works — and Ploy listens first.
See the English word next to its Thai and an easy pronunciation guide a child can read aloud.
Tap "Listen" and hear the word clearly, at a pace made for learners. Works offline once your phone has a voice installed.
Tap "Speak" and say it back. With a signal, the phone tells you how close you got — kindly, every time. Without one, say it to a person.
EnglishTeacher.com and USAEnglish.com are two sites from the same family, for the same child, at two moments: the quiet daily practice, and the day she stands up.
